Joan de la Casa Winery
Joan, owner of the family run winery, was born into farming and vineyards and brought up into the culture of wine guided by the expertise of his grandfather, Joan de la Casa. His earliest memories evoke a blend of aromas of candied sun-ripe fruit and caramel, pastries and the carbon dioxide of those long days while wine producing.
Joan, a vocational vintner, embarked in his own wine production over ten years ago, however was not until 2013 when he ventured to market his white and red wines.
Joan and his team focus on producing high quality wines, respecting the relevance of environmentally friendly issues, yielding a selection of unique wines representative of native grape varieties and responding to the singularity of the climate of the Marina Alta.
